Bidrage med feedbackWe have been looking forward to trying this restaurant for some time. We went for a late lunch and we were the only patrons there. The waitress gave us a choice of tables next to a partition which was strange but fine. Our waitress was very nice and very familiar with the menu and helpful with suggestions. We got the shrimp moqueca and the white bass moqueca as our entrees and the squash soup and fried yucca for apps. The soup and yucca were amazing, the moqueca was good but without the Malagueta oil, it would have been just okay. The caipirinha's were perfect. All of this being said, we found the experience expensive for lunch but once in awhile a splurge worth taking. We would have given 4 stars if the family that runs the rest. wasn't sitting right behind the partition with two toddlers that screamed and cried thru our meal. At times we couldn't even hear ourselves talk. For that experience we can go to McDonalds.
Visiting from out of town and decided to try something new. Would recommend 100% it was soooo good. My mom got the mahi-mahi moqueca and I got the steak. They cooked my steak a perfect medium rare and it was absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Mediocre flavors for the price. Service was ok. Would choose a different restaurant if I wanted to impress.
This is the best restaurant in Thousand Oaks, and possibly the best in Ventura County! The food is absolutely delicious every time, the service is wonderful, and the prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. This is my go-to spot to bring friends and family, and everyone loves it! The owners are very friendly and attentive, and I have never had a bad experience here. I will be a loyal patron for years to come!
