Bidrage med feedbackFound Bandits on Google maps looking for a BBQ restaurant. The country music was a bit louder than it needed to be, but wasn't intrusive to conversation. When we visited several southern states this year I enjoyed sweet tea, which this restaurant DOESN'T offer, thus only 4 stars. They DID have fried pickles, another southern fav, which we ordered along with huge onion rings that were very crispy and crunchy, served with horseradish sauce. For our meal we shared baby back ribs and shrimp on a skewer. The ribs were fall off the bone tender with a subtle bbq sauce, the shrimp had a delicate seasoning that was delicious. We got baked beans and a potato sides, the beans were not the typical bbq beans and were quite good. We will def be coming back here next time we're in Thousand Oaks.
This place great. The food , the service and the atmosphere. We always love Bandit's.
I really like this place. I hadn't visited here in years. There was plenty of free parking. The place looks great. Our server Bailey was very nice and accurate. The menu was interesting. I ordered the beef ribs and Cesar salad. The Cesar was very good. The beef ribs were the best I have had in years. Nice and beefy with a tasty sauce. I'll have to check back in next time I'm in town.

I've been eating Bandits since it was in the tiny building on the other side of the parking lot. 1990s! Never has disappointed ever. After eating here a bit more often lately I thought I'd add my take on their current menu. My favorite items are the BBQ chicken sandwich, the steak salad and the salmon salad, the BBQ tritip wrap, the Mac and cheese, zucchini sticks, onion rings, baby back ribs and the wine Wednesday special! The place is always clean, friendly staff, nice bar tenders, good selection of beer, well paced kitchen and great for take out too. I hope to enjoy many more meals here, A Thousand Oaks staple. Now if only they made a short rib grilled cheese
