Such a gem! This place is great to every small detail. We came for a live jazz event and will be back. Atmosphere is wonderful. Candlelight. Smells of cinnamon and cookies. Lovely decor. enchanting music. You cannot find a better date spot. Service was also great. Thank you for a magical evening

Amazing experience at this local east end place. Food was delicious and the service was even better. Our server was kind, thoughtful and never without a smile. Such a good change from some of the chain restaurants. The night we went had a great jazz duet playing jazz covers. They were fantastic and just added to the cool atmosphere. Wish it was a bit warmer so we could've checked out their patio. Highly recommend this place for coffee, drinks or just a pleasant night out.

Love this cafe and bar! We enjoy coming here for SPECIAL coffee every Friday. I love their event nights, especially Jazz nights (every Thursday evening). Ward 4 Cafe and Bar puts on a variety of events like poetry readings and comedy nights as well. Something for everyone. The treats.. especially cheesecake and butter tarts are to die for! The back yard area is a covered lounge so beautiful and relaxing! Highly recommend if you just want to sip some coffee and pastry or to have a fulfilling lunch or dinner! Just do it!! You won't be disappointed. They also support local artisans by selling honey and such. The front patio is so nice with large umbrellas for shade!

Finally went to Ward IV. What I pictured was a small coffee shop but there was more space and a lot to experience than I anticipated! There is a patio in front of building, lovely patio in the back, and tables inside. We seated outside in their cool covered graffiti art space. Music was great, just loud enough and did not impact conversation. We enjoyed a beer and apps from the menu which was just enough for us to share. Delightful.The menu had all day breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and apps, all prices reasonable. A must try is the baked goods. We took home a cookie and a condensed milk treat for later that was soo good. I have to go back and try a special coffee as their coffee and cocktail menu was vast! The owner and staff were lovely to talk to and invited us back to their special event this evening (a reggae band) and it looks like throughout the week you can come and enjoy live music. Great joint in East Hamilton!!
