This restaurant is relatively tiny and under new management this year. By far the best thing about this are the charming hosts, Beppe and Norma. Nothing was too much for them, and I left (having stayed the night in one of their 3 lovely en-suite rooms) feeling that I had found a new branch of my family. The service was impeccable, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and the food really good (although British customers might wish to request a lighter hand with the salt on some dishes when ordering- (Italians tend to like their food much saltier than we do). It isn't particularly cheap, but it is very good. I also noticed that, in the torrid heat Italy has been subjected to this year, up in the hills, the evening temperature was perfect, without a single mosquito. The highlight of the visit was, however, the music. Some evenings, notably some Fridays and Saturdays, there is live music, which was great. It wasn't intrusive, though, (The small stage is set apart from the dining area) and conversation was still possible. However, most of the clientele when I went (me included) were there principally for that, and there was a lot of interaction. Beppe told me that should this season be successful, there are plans to expand the dining areas. I have no doubt that will happen. Highly recommended and well worth the trip out into the countryside. Soooooo nice food and lovely place. Nice music outside. Really good menu, would love to come back We had two appetizers and tried two different pasta dishes; one with mentha and lime! Fabolous!

Bel locale a pochi passi dal centro di grizzana m., personale gentile, prezzi leggermente superiori alla media ma i piatti che ho provato erano molto buoni
