Pho Tau Bay Restaurant - Surrey

Really great portions and high-quality meats. Extremely friendly staff. My family's favorite pho in the entire Vancouver metro area!

Ordered the house special and spring rolls. House special was good, decent portions and cuts of meat, and spring rolls were okay and were not too oily. However, my partner and I both got an upset stomach afterwards and this was the only meal we ate together that day. Service was not great either server was curt and it was not busy.

Ever since I moved out from Abbotsford to Surrey I’ve always missed Vietnamese food, my mom usually makes it homemade and I usually never went out for pho anywhere because I found that the broth was ALWAYS very watered down, but my friend recommended this place and now I come regularly to hang out with friends and talk over a bowl of pho! It reminds me of my mom’s cooking and hits home. The broth is rich and hot which is perfect, and the staff is very nice and welcoming too! Their Vietnamese iced coffee is my favourite and I always get it when I go here.

Satisfying is probably the best word to describe it. This is the 3rd time I've been here, and it hasn't disappointed me yet. Got the house special large as usual. Beef was fresh, portion is good, soup didn't taste like msg, and noodles were soft. Price is still decent, considering it's $14, where many places like Lotus have jacked up their pricing to $16 . Definitely will be back again when I'm in the area. Food 9.5. Service 8. Ambiance 9. Value 9

Good pho but it's missing that grilled ginger flavor. Also too expensive for an average bowl. It's okay
