Happy Backpackers - Stung Treng

Absolutely fantastic place to catch the sunset in Don Det. Food is incredibly cheap and the service from the owner is amazing, he often remembers your orders from previous evenings, all around fantastic staff. He also offers great happy hour cocktails to compliment the sunset, I can't recommend this place enough, don't miss it when you go to Don Det!

What a guy! Restaurant is amazing, the owner cooks all by himself, always with a smile, prices are more then fair The atmosphere is good. He even have some stuff to smoke if you need it. Definitely recommend.

Went here for a stop on our bike ride. Everyone was happy with their food. I got the pinapple pancake and french fries and loved them both. Great vibes during the day even and a good view.

Booked a bungalow but I ended up going somewhere else. Looks nice at first until you realise it's not. No towels provided, toilet is a hole in the ground 5 minutes away and the room is super hot. Outlet is up next to the door but impractical to use because there is nowhere to place the phone unless you want it hanging from the cord. It is not expensive but there is way better bungalows around for the same price.

We really enjoyed it over here We had the best food in don det, watched sunset and had really cheap drinks. We’ve been there many many times
