The Capital Grille - Stamford

I had an excellent experience in the capital grille! we celebrated a birthday and victor, our server, was professional and delivered superior customers.

The really great experience I had at capital grille has inspired me to create a Yelp account, only so I can say how great this place is. on Saturday it was 5 o'clock.

Absolutely Amazing, It was a birth day dinner and I was Superb. Mark sat us down and he was very friendly, well spoken (word choices). Kevin made our service such an amazing moment, very energetic, from selecting our food, his knowledge of his job, his ability to explain the menu to us…simply amazing from A-Z. I paid for excellence and I received just that “Top tier” Thank you Mark and Kevin, keep up with the great work and I like people who their heart into what they do. Cheers, H/X

I was very disappointed with this visit. I had been to other Capital Grilles and had thought that this one would live up to the standard of others, but such was not the case. My salmon was close to completely raw inside, and this was not supposed to be sushi. Our server was nowhere to be found and I had to flag someone else down to return the salmon for additional cooking time. We almost never saw our server and I finally gave up trying to get a refill on the ginger ale. The restaurant was not very busy when we came, so it is not at all clear why the service was as poor as it was. I will not be eating here again.
