Barrel House - Stamford

I'm sorry, I wanted to like this place as a closer alternative to our usual pizza spot, but we probably won't come back if it's someone else's choice. It wasn't bad, it wasn't so good. I usually don't complain about the price have never paid a problem when it is worth, but the bill came to $144 in front of tip for three regular (with small for a person) pizzas (two level without extra tips), an salat, an app and a few drinks (two of them were shirley temples, a beer a very big beer but still., a cocktail and a glass wein). the app (fried garnelen) was very good. salat too much edgy, but otherwise fresh. the two pizzas were with the exception of no basilikum on one. the one without the basilikum looked to the left and drying out so that we shared the inviting with basilikum and the other took to home, but it was not worth heating again. the noise level was more than energetic, but that was because they had interjected some unnecessary, unpleasant club sound that even the young crowd wondered what was going on. service was very friendly, but completely underoccupied, and it is somehow hard to imagine that the bus type did not know what oregano in a pizza place (the oregano that should come on the pizza). on the bright side were the crust and sauce on the pizza that was made right, both good. we only enjoyed our meal not all other things.

When they are in the inner city of stamford, this place definitiw is a top spot to play with friends and enjoy good food and good music. I shared a pizza with one.

Baby cal salad meatballs and pizza all excellent server very friendly space art empty on an early satten night, but was bushier once we leave large beer list.

They tried to go to cask, but they had a 45-minute waiting for our big group. we came here instead and had a great time. the pizzas and burgers were delicious.

We wanted to try Barrel House since it was new in the neighborhood and we were not disappointed. We ordered for apps the meatballs and the potato croquettes which I highly recommend the sauces used were delicious. For dinner we had the calzone pizza which says serves 2-3 people but is more than enough food for 4 if not 5 people if you order apps as well. The service was good they were on top of everything. I think we might have found our new favorite place!!
