Carman's Diner - St Stephen

Took myself out to Carman's for my birthday yesterday for lunch! They make the yummiest, most beautiful, over-filled lobster rolls I've ever had, and I've had them everywhere! The fries n gravy are always my side dish, there's nothing like them! My waitress Donna, was efficient and friendly and even took a birthday picture of me Carman's Diner is the best!

I had the large (huge) fish chowder, a full meal in itself: loaded with clams, fish, scallops, lobster, then I had a large order of fried clams. I did not leave hungry: it is everything a Maritimer expatriate wants for a seafood craving. I ate in Carman's when young and this is the first time back to St. Stephen in years. Carman's has just gotten better. And talking about the area with The Donna (she is mentioned elsewhere in comments) was a treat in itself. Thank you, Carman's!!:0)

I won the free sweetheart valentine dinner this year and my sweetie and i went yesterday and enjoyed the HUGE seafood platter. Everything was delicious. Linda our server was practically running as it was so busy, but she did it all with a smile on her face. Thanks so much for picking me this year. I have always left with a full belly and a smile on my face as everyone that works there makes you feel so welcome. Also thanks for recommending the puppy paws pie Linda it was divine!

We have never had a bad experience at Carman’s Diner, the food and service are always excellent
