The Daily Bread Bakery Cafe - St. Louis

Really neat place for lunch/brunch. Bright, great variety on the menu, and the staff is friendly!

I've been going to the Daily Bread off and on for 20 years. I've gotten pretty much the same few things for all of those 20 years. I can say with great certainty that it has gone significantly downhill in the last year or so. I'm not sure if they are starting to cut corners, change recipes, or what. The Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich is flavorless, wet, and mushy. The white chicken chili literally has NO flavor...it used to have the best little bite to it. Even the iced tea went down...always old and never fresh. Last time I went, I made sure to tell my mom to remind me never to go back. It isn't what it used to be and isn't worth going back.

Nicholas was extremely helpful, I needed to get some things a little before the store open and he allowed me to come in and help me find everything in my list. He went out of his way to accommodate a customer and I appreciate that so much you don’t see that often and off the customer service you provide it was absolutely amazing and by the time I finish shopping for everything and the list one of the girls arrive in $ring me Up. Because of employees like Nicolas that spoke Spanish and English and he try his best to help a customer even though he was more on the stocking department is what makes this place such an amazing place!! He gave it a personal touch And I have not had this customer service in Miami in a very long time which is why I am taking the time to write this review. His Customer Service was just impressive I hope he’s employers value him.

Not bad. Good bread. I wish the menu was more descriptive of what you get. Decently fresh. Iced tea tastes fresh brewed. Greek salad was good, but the chicken didn't taste home made.

My FAVORITE place to eat! 100 times better than Bread Co. Not a chain! Great sandwiches fast!! Great pizzas and salads. All specialties!! Brick oven homemade breads, bagels, buns. Delicious bakery goods. Quiet clean.
