Bidrage med feedbackOne of the best bakeries I've ever had. Period. Never tasted anything I didn't like. The croissants are perfectly buttery and flaky. Service is always stellar and the place is immaculate. Definitely a must whenever in St. Louis.
I've lived in the area for so long and never knew about this place. I came to this place bc I wanted to get close to bakery w/the best French macaron in the area. Not that the other I go is far (Webster Groves), but my daughter loves her and if we want a little sweetness in our day, why not make a quick run nearby. So I found this bakery! It's sweet, the staff is the best, small and always busy! The parking lot is not so big and it is in busy Manchester Rd, so it is sometimes a pain, but completely with it! The Macaron selection is limited, but they switch a taste or two from time to time. They also sell the most beautiful pastries I've ever seen. Something from a magazine. They also sell cookies, delicious pastries, sandwiches, quiches, coffees and a little retail. There are no seats in this place, so everything is to go. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a unique cake / cake type thing. They are as delicious as they look. I never tried their sandwiches, but they look amazing and are updated when I am. Be ready to spend $30 or more if you're there lol.
A James Bart nominates pasty cook, curls both savory and sweet. It takes a crew to lead this place; You can see that the team works in the back through the glass. The display case is beautiful with great attention to detail in every offer and friendly customer service. They don't really eat there; limited mating seats. You order. We were there before 8:00 on a Saturday and line was about 10 people deep. It's moving pretty fast and the staff takes you friendly. So if you go on Saturday, be ready to wait in the line. The Roast-Rindsandwich on Poppy-Challah with Rossiscreme was great! So was the ham and Gruyère Croissant. Desserts are delicious. I enjoyed the Macarons the best. It is a top bakery with awards, so do not expect any discounts. That said everything we tried was worth the cost. Between Kirkwood and Des Peres on Manchester. Perfect place to get some beautiful desserts or a French pastry.
This was my first time to visit this establishment, but it will definitely not be my last!!! This place is like a Willy Wonka by Bakeries, soooo many articles to choose. This is now my new place to go for Choc Chip Cookies. The Chicken Salad Sandwich is excellent!! The Croissant was hugely super tender. U can say that they fold tons of butter several times. Customer service was pleasantly very helpful to answer questions I had about each of their numerous articles. Some like the feeling that their prices are a lil' high, but if U take 1 taste see the quality of their products, U will see that it is worth!!! I hope to extend into the Maryland Heights area. This decor is a true treasure will satisfy every sweet tooth. Very cozy authentic interior rich in traditional art. If I had any complaints, it would not be with the facility itself, but with the very narrow parking lot....
Great customer service. Friendly staff. Fast, great service and best of all, the food! Semi pricy but definitely worth the buck! The croissants are made to perfection, warm, flaky and fresh!I love this place and highly recommend it !
