Drunken Fish Central West End

For a Saturday night the restaurant was pretty empty. Our waiter was incredibly rude, not helpful, and acted as though we were a burden. Food was mediocre at best. If I hadn't previously made a reservation I would have probably turned around the second we walked into the restaurant and ate elsewhere. Will not return.

Waitress did get the order wrong but corrected it without an issue. Seemed louder than normal. Disappointed in the new rolls we tried.

The food was pretty good. We ordered shrimp tempura, fried rice, the sushi sashimi combo, crispy role, and steak entree. Everything, but the steak entree was good. The New York Strip steak was basically a lame flank steak, cooked on a flattop, served with white rice and teriyaki sauce. It wasn’t worth the $27 price tag. It wasn’t worth the calories. I also didn’t like that they only had one bathroom. Kinda grimy. Definitely get the shrimp tempura. The shrimp are fat and the dipping sauce was a spicy delicious.

Our waitress, Stephanie, was absolutely brilliant! She was clearly very busy but made us feel like her only table. The manager, Sean, was very attentive and checked in on us not once, but twice. The sushi was fantastic (some of the best we’ve had in the area)
