Bidrage med feedbackI had the firm of building that is a somewhat smaller tasting menu. I booked in advance and they were able to accommodate a complete vegan menu. the firmness of the vater was expensive, but so much to eat and an incredible variety. I am so glad that I visited this route as the menu for vegan items was limited. it is expensive, but a great option for the upscale vegan eating in st. louis.
I had a truly wonderful experience with the tasting menu. Just be sure to notify them in advance. I'm definitely planning to return!
Shortly after we arrived in St. Louis, my partner made a reservation for our entire family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They offered a vegan tasting menu, and despite the expense, it was definitely worth it.
It's best to inform them of any dietary restrictions when making your reservation; I'm not sure how strictly they adhere to this, but we had booked in advance. I was dining with a mixed group of vegans (myself being the only one), vegetarians, and meat-eaters. The majority of the dishes were suitable for everyone, but in cases where a dish was vegan but not vegetarian, I was provided my own slightly modified version. For instance, instead of butter for the bread, I received a rich pesto, and I had a small potato dish that used an alternative to butter. My kohlrabi taco was served without yogurt, and my dessert came with a delightful vegan ice cream instead of what my friends received. Most of the dishes were meant to be shared, and along with the previously mentioned items, there were grilled oyster mushrooms, glazed kohlrabi, charred broccoli, a soup with sun chokes, caramelized beets, fresh salads, and more vegetables with pesto, among others. The meat-eaters had a meat platter, while everything else was vegetarian. The service was excellent, and although portions were small, there was definitely enough to eat. My only minor complaint is that there wasn't any vegetarian protein; I really wish they had included at least one lentil or bean dish. Overall, the experience was very good. They also have a lovely cocktail menu. While this isn’t a place I would visit frequently, I hope to return for a special occasion and am very pleased I had the chance to try it out.
I tried the Peasant’s Feast, which is a smaller tasting menu option. I made a reservation in advance, and they were able to prepare a full vegan menu for me. While the Father’s Feast was on the pricey side, it included an enormous amount of food and an amazing variety. I’m really glad I chose this route, especially since the vegan menu options were somewhat limited. It may be expensive, but it’s an excellent choice for high-quality vegan dining in St. Louis.
