Smallcakes A Cupcakery - St. Charles

I really like the concept of this restaurant, but I was let down by the frosting. The cake itself was delicious and moist, but the frosting was lacking. It was clear that they were using shortcuts or a substitute for butter. I found it to be unpleasant.

I absolutely loved the cupcakes at this restaurant! As a baker by profession, I am quite picky, but they did not disappoint. I will definitely be spreading the word about the delicious and tasty cupcakes they have here!

Cute little bakery shop. Cupcakes are delish and we all loved them.First, my initial order was lost, so I'm glad I called to dbl ck on everything. I'm a little irritated and honestly should of been given a discount.Secondly, like I said, cupcakes delish and a hit! The anniversary cake, was put in a cooler, when we took it out, the top layer shifted off, as if there was not enough filling to hold top piece on. The cake was very secure. We tried hard to mend the top back on. It looked awful. A gift to our parents and So embarrassed. By the time they arrived, the top piece leaned so badly. Cake tasted good, whomever made it, not a good job. Will never get one for the price we paid for a flop. Yes, it was left in box. Looked like racoons went after it. What a mess!

Delicious Cupcakes! I will definitely come back! I got the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake!
