Village Inn Family - Springfield

Honestly. that eating is absolutely bombed, everything has been so well seasoned and the French toast was the best I ever had. 10/10 would recommend anyone who drives to the city. also the waitresses are so nice and the hostess was polite on the phone.

Visited in the opposite direction for a family event and got cake for dessert to go. the caramel pecan silk superior was fabulous, and the crumb cake was good (can not screw up a cake) in pastness we had other aromas, always delicious. still a favorite!

Good food, good service, and good value. I hear they have great pies too, but I have been too full after the meal to also order dessert. Maybe next time I will get dessert to go.

This is my favorite breakfast place in town. I love the build your own breakfast special. I bring my kids here and it's always kid friendly.My suggestion would be to have a few more sweet crepe options

On the downside, portions could have been a little more. Had the pick 4 breakfast. Scrambled Eggs, sausage patty, hash browns and toast. Looked like 1 egg instead of 2, sausage patty was no bigger than the small size Johnsonville patties. Hash browns and toast were acceptable in size of portion though. Upside was the service. Our server, Savannah was attentive and very well mannered! In this department you get an A+. I would definitely return for this grade of service! My buddy and I went dutch treat here also and there was no hassle paying our bill in cash/debit. Work on improving portion size and that last star will be yours!
