Tengu Japanese Steakhouse - Southport

We have been eating here for several years, the service and food are both good. We have never been rushed even when it is busy. I can't comment on the sushi since I never eat it.

We believed Japanese so badly, but wanted to eat inside to avoid this until we noticed that this was the only true Japanese restaurant. We went and ordered the fillet and chicken and it was not disappointed! The owner was very nice and shared with us that he can't find anyone to work, which is why he is unable to open his doors to dinner. #heishiring

Some of the best sushi and hibachi below. The owner is super nice and very accommodating. I was here several times and never had a bad experience. The California is excellent and I think they give you some more food than other places here. It's definitely worth a try. Also there are mixed drinks are great!
