Fat Andy's Burger - Southport

I have been visiting the Oak island and Southport for about 4 years now and I kept meaning to try this place. Today I finally did. Absolutely amazing best burger and fries I have had on the island yet. Definitely gonna be frequent stop every time I visit.

Very good place to stop when you need a fast burger. I will not at all make the claim or suggest that these burgers are life-changing, how many other critics do, but they are very good for value and time. Definitely fresher and quite likely faster than something you would get at a fast food joint. The ingredients are very fresh and make the food very pleasant.

Delicious, quick, friendly and big. I had the burger and chili fries with a soda and on a hot day that’s all I needed. It’s probably my 5th time at Fat Andy’s and I’ve seen a line off the porch every time which is a pretty good indicator of what people think of the food. The building might look beaten up on the outside but it adds charm and makes it even more appealing to me

Prices are great for a good old-fashioned burger, fries and dogs. Fast too! This is the kind of place I wanted to find when I had little kiddos and went to the beach.
