A warm welcome from the personal. handy for south shields and chichester metro as well as bus routes from laygate. a great place for parties and live bands. some very good acts appear and gigs are often published well in advance. there is a functional space above. a large selection of ales on tap and a selection of soft drinks and spirits. carvery also on a Sunday.

I love going here for my sunday dinner, relaxed atmosphere with low music (a mixture of genres, decades and artists) staff are always pleasant and attentive. Try the mince and dumplings!
