Tandoori Flames South Kingsville

Tandoori Flames is a warm and inviting Indian restaurant located in the picturesque South Kingsville area. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes with influences from different regions, including tasty tandoori specialties like lamb seekh kabab cooked in their traditional clay oven.

Visited them recently and the place had a nice fitout. There was a good range on the menu and we ordered a few dishes to try and it was amazing. The restaurant is spacious, and the staff is lovely.

So I've been to the Tandoori Flames in Footscray.<br/ <br/ It's weird. I guess my mentality coming into it is like if you eat at Macca's in Australia, you'd pretty much expect the same flavours in, let's say, NZ.<br/ <br/ The food isn't the same between both Tandoori Flames, certainly not with the butter chicken anyway (aka bat-gf's barometer for Indian joints). I would say the Footscray joint is better than the Kingsville spot, BUT IT'S NOT REALLY THAT DIFFERENT, but it's still pretty good.<br/ <br/ TLDR; Tandoori Flames in Kingsville is good.

Hapy to have found a local Indian take away with delicious butter chicken. Very friendly and polite staff. I always wonder why there aren't many people dining in but perhaps due to the quiet location. I recommend to give this place a try!
