Thistle Pig - South Berwick

Fantastic every time. I don't know what sort of dark magic they weave in the kitchen to make it all taste so good, but I surrendered myself to it long ago. No regrets.

I love Thistle Pig! This place is amazing. Staff is always very pleasant and the place is quaint and rustic, but so wonderfully welcoming inside. They have a great selection of beer (hello Bissell Brothers! , wine, and their fantastic house made drinks.The food is always great, especially the pork shoulder! They're always willing to accommodate requests. Dessert is delicious. Ilove that they locally source as much of their food as they can. There's really nothing bad to say about this place. One of myfavorites in the area.

I enjoyed a peaceful brunch with my family. The waitstaff were courteous and attentive. The food was creative and intriguing, with great attention to detail. My first cup of coffee was cold, but the second one was excellent. I found the menu to be reasonably priced. I would consider returning if I'm in the area again.

The food was excellent, and the bar offered a fantastic selection of top-shelf options. The wine list was impressive as well. I don’t drink beer, so I can’t provide any feedback on that, but the beer selection appeared to be quite extensive.

My partner and I visited for brunch on a Sunday when many places are closed. The restaurant has a lovely exterior located on a pleasant street, although we both felt a bit unsure about the yellow entrance—it’s just a matter of personal taste (we joked about repainting it a thistle color during our conversation). We were really pleased with the delicious food, and the cozy interior made for great conversation. The waitstaff were very friendly as well. I wanted to inquire about the origin of the restaurant's name, but unfortunately, we ran out of time! I also enjoyed the artwork in the bathroom during my visit!
