Pizza Hut - Smithville

This Pizza Hut has been in Smithville since I was born. I’ve gone to this Pizza Hut throughout my whole life (quite literally). Unfortunately the management at this place has gone extremely down hill. Everyone is wasted on alcohol while at work. You go in and everyone is sitting down, their landline usually ringing over and over again with no one showing any interest in answering(I’ve witnessed people get up to hang up the ringing phone and walk away) you have to stand at the counter staring at sitting/laying/napping employees until someone finally decides to get up and do their job. I witnessed multiple underaged workers drinking on their shifts with of age managers. Doesn’t seem appropriate- or legal. I also recommend no one eating here, if you saw the state of the kitchen and the health practices used in this establishment you’d all be disgusted.

We were in there Fri eve. We told them what we wanted when we went in. We were the only ones in there, (the whole time we were there). There were 5 people working there that evening. She brought out the drinks food. She was very polite. After that no one came back to the table to see if we needed a refill or anything. I had to go to the counter to ask for the to go box and some more sauce. Normally we will leave around a 20% tip. This time we left a 10% tip. And then after we left we got to talking about it and wished we didn't leave anything. Normally they usually give us good service. Food was great as usual. And they are the only dine in pizza hut. They were polite and friendly. After they brough the food that was it, no one came back to check on us. If they were really busy I would have understood it better more. I used to work in food service and if you didn't give service you better not expect a tip.
