Tasty Cafe - Sherman

Service and atmosphere was nice, but the food was only mediocre. I had the Philly cheese steak with was more cheese and bread than meat. My mom had the eggs Benedict which she said the hollandaise sauce was lumpy. My boyfriend had the ribeye sandwich which he said was fatty. They have everything you could ever want on the menu, but I imagine that's why it is all only so-so. Service: Dine in

Ribs all fat terrible. Fries tasted like fish. Mostaccioli was horrible. Very little sauce garlic bread was disgusting. Omelet and hashbrowns tasted like old grease. We ate breakfast there recently and what a disappointment. I always get a bowl of oatmeal and it’s always served with milk, brown sugar and I believe raisins or at least upon request. Today I get my oatmeal with no milk, no raisins and a little cup of a couple tablespoons of brown sugar. When I asked where the milk was the waitress said it doesn’t come with milk. Really? Who eats oatmeal without milk? Not me. Also, the oatmeal was chewy and the oats were half cooked. The bacon was microwaved and not good. My boyfriend had to wait till we were almost ready to leave before his coffee cup was refilled. We won’t be back.
