Chalet Raggio Di Sole - SESTRIERE

Beautiful chalet, owners very kind and super polenta! I remember you every day! peace and tranquility.

We went to lunch in venerd and despite the rain and a group of kids we found a great welcome. in 3 (2 adults and a child) we took a burger and a bowl, both exquisite, 2 sweets of the delicate and delicious house, and a coffee (in all 49 the correct price seen the quality of food, location and kindness. excellent support for walking in the area.

Expensive for what you get, even by mountain restaurant standards. For €15 you get a small slice of reheated lasagne with no accompaniments/salad. Rosti is also reheated but at least comes with salad. Overall not good value and there are better restaurants in Sestriere..

Long waiting times at self service. Only go here if spending your lunch break waiting in line is what you want. Overpriced for self service.

We were here for the August grid. the place is very nice in this sheltered conca where the sun warms up very much also in winter. we ate all well also considered in large number of pesrones present. the green spaces surrounding the chalet allow you to relax at the end of the meal and for the little ones there are some games, the soccer field and a small stream in which to play. Good.
