Carey Hilliard's - Savannah

I don't know how recently you were at a Carey Hilliard, but if you are like me, it's been a while since I remembered them (generally) as dark, dated and open dingy. As such, it was an exceptionally pleasant surprise to go into this position and be greeted with bright, open, updated decor. Service was excellent and the food was very good, especially considering how affordable it was (only around $12 per person for 4 people). Would definitely dine again!

As a Savannah native I have been eating from this restaurant for years the food is always pretty good, but for some reason they never stay consistent with the mac and cheese some nights is bake some nights you can tell it comes straight out of a can

The waitress was doing all that she could to make it a fine dining experience on Sunday. Whomever was cooking the food needs to be retrained. The old folks taught us to place love in what you cook. Too many are in such a hurry that the food comes out and there's no love in what is being served. Will not be returning!

Always a great place to eat. I've eaten at Carey Hilliards since 1999 by Charleston SC now throughout the Savannah Ga range. The food has always been abundant. I always get the captains clad bcuz I am a seafood lover and yesterday I got the grilled salmon with 2 pages. Only if Carey Hilliards can come to Atlanta: . Usually the food was amazing, shot on the cook.

Every time we get through Savannah on our way to the family, we'll stop at a Carey Hillards. We had such a great experience Thursday I wanted to share. We made this meal our travel tradition every trip. The staff was very friendly and organized. The food was great as always! We'll be back soon.
