Avatar's - Sausalito

It was our first time at Avatar's. Five of us sampled five different entrees and loved them all. The fusion of Indian, Asian, and Mexican food is exceptional. Very unique and delicious! We're from Chicago visiting friends and plan to come to Avatar's every time we're here.

Really enjoyed this place! It's clean, has attentive and kind service, and the food is really good! Got both the jerk chicken enchiladas and the curry chicken. Both were tasty and felt very comforting. Would recommend coming here if you're in the area!!

The jerk chicken, although not traditionally Indian, was an unexpected delight on the menu. The fusion of Indian spices with the Caribbean jerk seasoning created a mouthwatering dish that was both flavorful and unique. The tender, perfectly grilled chicken had a delightful blend of aromatic spices that truly stood out. Additionally, the owner's warmth and hospitality added to the overall experience, making the dining visit memorable. Their friendly demeanor and attentiveness to customers truly made the dining experience at Avatar a remarkable one.

Delicious Indian fusion food. But the real gem is the manager. His energy and warmth sets the mood for an incredible experience. It's followed by equally attentive and warm service from the other staff as well. Thanks for a great meal!

Food: 5/5 We ordered the soup of the day, chicken curry, and the Jamaican jerk chicken enchiladas. The food was flavorful, tasted fresh, and it was served nice and hot. The spices were warming in that great homey way. I really loved how tender the chicken was, and the saffron rice was delicious as well. Service: 6/5 The two gentlemen at the FOH was extremely attentive, speedy, and kind! We were seated immediately on a Saturday night. My partner and I were tired and hungry after hiking at mount tam and wanted a hearty meal in town. The manager ? was so quick to attend to us, and the food came out extremely quickly. The food was great, but the service is what really makes this place worthwhile. Ambiance: 5/5 Nice and cozy, and not too fussy. It was clean and friendly inside. Family friendly, and great for a casual dinner. Overall: 5.5/5 Great service, flavorful and hearty food, and clean. Would visit again if I'm in town!
