Los Portales - Santa María Huatulco

Los portales was a great, unexpected surprise. the food was excellent, service was prompt and attentive. a rarity in a city where eating can take an hour to get out. Finally, cleanliness was excellent and far better than anything I saw in huatulco recommended!

A great small, non-flashy authentic Mexican restaurant with great food. a good place to refuel while visiting la crucecita.

Two stars because the shrimp tostadas we're ok (nothing special though). Besides that, we had the worst ceviche my wife and I ever ate (she's Mexican), fish was hardly recognizable as such, and covered in salsa Ingles/ Worcestershire for some obscure reason. Probably to cover...the fact that it wasn't fresh at all. Horrible! Staff didn't seem to care about our comments. Also extremely overpriced 150 pesos for three fish tacos? No love here, avoid at all cost!

Ice cold beer along with very reasonably priced food! The menu is quite large with many choices. Our group enjoyed pork and chicken dishes with only one person out of 6 saying we would definitely come back! If you want to save some money and...enjoy real Mexican food with great pricing you must go here. Excellent service as well.
