They have the traditional triangle ones as well as the 1/2 circle ones. I enjoy these usually for breakfast. But today, I already had lunch and will eat these as an afternoon snack.
One my favorite indulgence is fresh sushi and I found this Suruki Supermarket through friends and online. Everything was fresh and hand cut in the Market. I got to sample the Surf clam, salad Seaweed salad, Blue fin tuna, extra fatty belly, Scallops, Fresh salmon, Blue fin tuna, and Yellow tail. They also sell sushi rice on the side. The fish was delicious and soft, melting in my mouth. I definitely will be coming back here. Suruki Supermarket, Downtown San Mateo, CA.
I don't actually shop here regularly, but this is one of my go to places for sashimi! I always recommend this to people, especially if you are pre-planning food (you order by the pound). Most of the time they are able to whip out a sushi platter the day of as long as you order before 1PM. There's options to add more ginger/wasabi and rice, and you can also add other kinds of food they have too. The fish has always been fresh for me, but at times they've gotten the order wrong. It is also convenient because if you needed anything else it’s also a market!
Ordered a whole bunch of different makis, nigiris, and rolls online for a friends' gathering. Store called me to ask if I would like the orders to be combined and I did. They plated my order into party platters and it looks and tastes amazing!
Has cute alcohol section, but very crammed when going through isles, and 2 of them are for line ups so it's a bit awkward to weave through people. Also the cashier entered an item that was supposed to be on sale at full price, but I found out after checking out and it was busy so didn't bother going back.
