Basil Thai - San Mateo

The green curry was excellent, with just enough spice on a slow burn and a very comfortable flavor. The sweet potato fries were pretty much normal for such, and the strawberry lemonade was about what I expected. The vegan chocolate "croissant" was definitely not a croissant, but it *was* a very tasty chocolate filled fluffy pastry dessert. Overall, very good food.

Amazing soup, and great service. Always takes great care of me. Awesome place!

Pros: fast processing delivery of the order (also thanks to apos;M apos;, for speedy delivery Cons: Bland Tom Kah Kai (hardly tasted the coconut milk, not enough lime, and veg that really didn apos;t belong . Pad Thai noodles were mushy the peanuts were STALE. Curries were decent sized, but the amt of rice given for the portions were nowhere near enough (we had apos;super sized apos; . I placed this order to give myself a couple days apos; break, while caring for my husband (just back from hospital . The amt that I paid for this order (over $100 wasn apos;t entirely reflected in the amts or quality of food. Just my opinion your mileage may vary!

Food delivery warmed. But the food no taste. I order pad Thai and brown rice . But they put it together in one container. The pad Thai noodles is become pad Thai rice and you cannot taste nothing just plain rice so dry so sauce at all .
