Antoine's Cookie Shop - San Mateo

I've been wanting to try these cookies for a while so I knew I had to make a pit stop while I was in San Mateo. Things that I loved: A dozen 13 cookies! All of the cookies were soft and chewy. Comparing to other cookie spots, these cookies weren't overly sweet. There is a microwave in the store that you can use to warm up your cookies before heading out. The Honeycomb cookies! If you can only have one cookie, get the Honeycomb cookie. The honeycombs add such a wonderful texture.

Had a chance to try this famous cookie shop when in the area and really liked it! I had seen this place popped up when looking through Yelp and I knew I had to try it. When there I ended up ordering 2 cookies: cookies and cream this was delicious and yummy, also not overly sweet. The cookies are the perfect size toffee I LOVE toffee so when I saw this flavor I was so excited!! Every bite of this dish was delicious Overall the food was great and would recommend one to try out for a snack!

It's so hard to pick my favorite from all these coz ALL COOKIES are so good. I like that they put the dark chocolate in a bag so that u don't confuse it with the regular choco chip. Will definitely b back

This is a shout out for excellent service provided by Rachel at the Palo Alto location. I ordered 6 cookies for my son's birthday (thru the website) and door dash delivered them to the wrong location. I did get a text from Door Dash, but it was in Spanish and thought it was a scam. When I looked at it later, translated and realized it was the wrong door. The Dasher was out of the area and unable to fix issue. I called the Palo Alto location, and Rachel problem solved for me calling her manager, giving me a refund and had me reorder via Door Dash so the order would get there in time. In addition, Rachel made sure is included a note saying Happy Birthday and some additional thoughts (both times) something another cookie service was unwilling to do. I am sure the cookies will be great, but the outstanding service is enough for me to definitely buy from them again.

One cookie and I'm hooked! Definitely stop by if you're in downtown San Mateo, the cookies are so good! As you step foot into the store, the buttery aroma lures you into getting at least one cookie. A nice lady that ordered the baker's dozen saw how much me and my friend were struggling to pick a flavor and recommended the honeycomb and cookies n cream. She also mentioned that the peanut butter cup is great for Reese's lovers. I opted for the 66% dark chocolate and the honeycomb. Both had a crispy exterior and soft interior, with the honeycomb being more crispy because it was flatter. The cookies still taste amazing the next day warmed up in the microwave.
