Monkey Business - San Juan

Fantastic! we were in several accommodations on siquijor and think that is the best. beautiful location on the beach with swings and free kanu. beautiful swimming pool. best value for money, affordable prices. most of the rooms/bungalows have a good kitchen.

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting with clean huts and well-maintained facilities. The cottages have a small kitchen with cooking and heating equipment, as well as their own bathroom. The treehouse accommodation stands out for its unique design. The veranda is a lovely spot to relax after a day of exploring the island or in the morning while enjoying breakfast and the scenic view of the horizon.

The hotel has an amazing sunset view and the room was okay. The only issue was with the security guard who did not let me check in without a reservation. After explaining that I had written a review before, he let me in. The staff were friendly and helpful, even arranging for my flat tire to be fixed. The pool was small and crowded with children, and the sea was not ideal for swimming. There is no restaurant on site, but their sister company Dagsa offers high quality food with a limited selection. I enjoyed the margarita at the bar and overall, it was a good experience despite the initial hiccup with the security guard. I will be sharing my experience on my YouTube channel.

I carefully took photos of our room after unpacking and putting our things away, and it still looked tidy and great. The room also comes with complete utensils, which is exceptional! I highly recommend The Bruce for your vacation or staycation on Siquijor Island.

We were there twice, once on the swing and it was really fun eating and also drinks were really good, we got the meal fast. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner
