Bidrage med feedbackBaha Bar in San Jose, Siquijor, Philippines, is a hidden gem that offers a truly romantic and cozy dining experience. During my visit, I was enchanted by the intimate setting and the impressive menu that celebrated local and traditional Filipino cuisine. We began our delightful meal with the Shrimp Spring Rolls, a perfect appetizer choice. The crispy, flavorful rolls filled with shrimp and fresh vegetables were a delightful start to our culinary journey. For our main courses, I opted for the Seared Tuna Steak served with sautéed vegetables and garlic rice, while my date enjoyed the classic Chicken Adobo. The Seared Tuna Steak was a standout dish, showcasing the local catch of the day cooked to perfection. The combination of tender tuna, crisp vegetables, and fragrant garlic rice made for a harmonious and delicious plate. The Chicken Adobo, a Filipino staple, did not disappoint. Its savory and slightly tangy flavors, coupled with perfectly cooked chicken, exemplified the essence of this beloved dish. To complement our meal, we savored some fantastic Sweet Iced Tea. It provided a refreshing balance to the rich and savory flavors of the dishes. What truly sets Baha Bar apart is its ability to create a romantic and inviting ambiance. The cozy setting adds a touch of intimacy to the dining experience, making it a perfect choice for a special date night or a memorable meal with loved ones. Probably one of the best restaurants in Siquijor for intimate dinners. The dark, moody atmosphere adds appeal to the place. The entire area is honey too. Everything was well thought out. They also do buffet nights, which are ideal for barkadas and families. Try their cocktails to cap the night off!
Great place to chill in the evening after exploring the island. My gf joined the buffet that they have every Friday and I had a burger. The food was great and the buffet had a great variety of sea food, local food, drinks and sweets. Totally recommend! They also have their own craft beer and it was very good!
We stayed in a stunning bungalow at Baja Bar for two nights plus ate at the restaurant many times during our stay on Siquijor. There is a unique and wonderful vibe about this place. Every building is unique and every aspect of design is carefully curated. It adds up to a special experience. We enjoyed the food and live music at the restaurant and also the peace and tranquility of the accommodation. The staff and service were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The owner was extraordinarily generous and friendly. Whether you’re looking for somewhere special to stay or an exceptional dining experience, Baha Bar is the place.
Top Restaurant in Siquijor I travel alone in Siquijor and roam around the island and I found this extraordinary restaurant just 3minutes drive from Coco Grove. All can I say is that it offers the best of everything, from the accommodating and very friendly staffs, the food was extremely good and they have complimentary bread to start, it's a plus! (thanks to the chef), the music was professionally performed plus the ambiance and the structure was excellently crafted (all was made from hard woods). I have the opportunity to talk to the manager, Jaja, who's really friendly and funny at the same time. Hope to come back soon and bring some friends! And don't foget the passion fruit martini, I loved it! I do really have a great night!
