Upper Cut - San Francisc

The chicken slider was very disappointing. Did not look like the pictures at all. Extremely greasy instead of crispy. Would not recommend eating from this food truck.

I have a feeling these negative reviews are being made by the competition, because...That was by far the best grilled cheese sandwich I 've ever had. Now you 're probably saying to yourself, It 's just grilled cheese. , but this guy uses all top shelf ingredients, cooked to perfection. Trust me... Upper Cut hits different.

Just wanted to share my recent experience at Upper Cut food truck. I was really looking forward to trying out their mini cut slider and the chipao slider, along with some garlic Parmesan fries. Gotta say, I was a bit let down. The wagyu slider was juicy, but it lacked flavor and sauce. The garlic Parmesan fries weren't as described not much garlic flavor, too greasy, and barely any Parmesan. AND the fries cost more than the sliders, which seemed a bit off to me. $7 for half order, about same size tray as in and out burger, but fries were not that heaping full).Now, the chipao slider was a whole different story. It didn't look like the photo at all the chicken was chunky and not crispy as shown/advertised nor was it spicy. It was juicy but lacked flavor, and I couldn't taste the bourbon glaze as described.All in all, the food was just okay for me. I might give it a pass next time I'm in the area.

Here for UCSF visit, and went to Spark Social food truck center for a quick bite.This one hit the spot for a quick small bite (sliders and fries). Sliders were very good, and fries were normal. Not the cheapest but could be worse. Overall it worked for us.

The crispy chicken sandwich was just okay. The house sauce is the best part of the sandwich and there wasn't nearly enough. The fried chicken was bland, but sufficiently crispy. Not a terrible price and Spark Social always has a nice ambience.
