Bidrage med feedbackBetween the music and the other patrons conversing, it can be a little different to hear the chef's explanation of the food if they're not mindful or naturally soft spoken. Food is amazing and the service was excellent though.
Incredible experience. The tasting menu was exquisite, you can tell they put a lot of thought into every bite. What an experience! If you want something more casual I would suggest just going and grabbing a few skewers. The quality of the meat is incredible,I probably would’ve preferred it this way to the tasting menu.If that doesn’t convince you go for the bathrooms. Gozu took something as simple as using the bathroom and elevated it 10xs. Major props!Kid-friendliness: Def kid friendly
Good service and amazing kitchen craft and techniques.Ambiance is a bit rigid and stuffy (if you 're looking for a pretentious dinner this might be it)Biggest complaint is that we only had 1 actual piece of wagyu in the entire menu.Considering that this is marketed as a Wagyu tasting, walked out feeling full (of disappointment)The first half is all cold dishes (for a fireside tasting, this is also confusing) with Wagyu infused dishes or Wagyu parts -I 'm all for sustainable cooking but I don 't think the Wagyu really shined through many of these other than in the richness that it brought.Overall disappointing for how much it was but giving it 2 stars because of the on point techniques and craft in the kitchen.
Excellent wagyu dinner experience for a birthday celebration. Each course was impeccable. It reminded me of Eleven Madison Park back in the day, though less vegetable forward. Nice fine dining but not overdone. I enjoyed every course. We had the full omakase dinner and also shared the wagyu and uni supplement which I think filled me up so that I had a little less room for dessert.Sorry I don't have any specific dish descriptions but definitely a nice balance of other non-wagyu items. Memorable flavors aside from the main wagyu course were scallop crudo, steamed egg custard/tofu ? , and the bread with liver mousse butter. Loved the green peas dish as well. The price point is worth it in terms of the quality of ingredients and service, however, for most people it would fit the budget for a special occasion or a business dinner to impress a client. I highly recommend trying it out once.P.S. They also have very clean bathrooms, with Toto bidet toilets and fragrant Aesop hand wash and hand cream. I felt like I was on a brief spa retreat, not bathroom break!Dietary restrictions: Probably not for vegetarians or vegans.Parking: We parked on the street but there are several parking garages in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Appears to be accessible with a few low tops in addition to the bar seating.
