Trace - San Andreas

Alvin was our waiter and he wasn't attentive and fabulous. He was really the best server I've been with for a long time. The shrimp and noodle salad was delicious. Your dining rooms are wonderful for a group to gather and able to really visit.

Samie Eggs Benedict was good. The cinnamon roll was very delicious.

The hostess welcomed us if we were hotel guests. We said no, and she said that's okay, she could still take us. Weelll, we're not special. We both thought about it. The restaurant was empty except 1 table. And we made a reservation, but she didn't ask. The waitress was sweet trying to remember our order, but forget both the bacon and the fried egg on the burger. She was able to get me the Lox/Bagel bowl from the menu, and she didn't load us for a $9 beer to make for her mistake. The food was good.

We had lunch in Trace before we went to SF MOMA... the service and food options were excellent! Thank you for a great experience.

The noise coming from the bar was inescapable and horrible, even in the rear of the restaurant. Not the first time but especially bad that evening. There should be a wall between the two. I doubt if I’ll return, as good as everything else was,
