Bidrage med feedbackHere 's the thing, I tried really I tried to make it home with a perfect Reuben to photograph. That 's why I ordered the large Crinkle Fries. Actually, that is why I order fries. Isn 't the drive home what fries are for? Large fries=Enormous beverage! I am not sure of the exact moment I broke seal on the perfect sandwich wrap. It could have been when I pulled into a parking slot and pulled the Reuben from the bottom of the bag and unwrapped it and since it was cut in half took a bite then another or perhaps a couple more? I am not quite sure? After all, I only pulled into a parking slot to make sure I could fry reach without looking while driving. Who 's to say how Sandwich Reach came to be? One would have thought I would have been wearing sandwich ingredients if that was so. I usually share my sandwich when I get home. Imagine the surprise after opening the offered up 'You are an Honored Person to get even a Bite of my Reuben let alone Half ' to find bits not much in the way of pieces. Imagine my surprise? Not even a crumb could be found on me. Every person I have introduced an Arby 's Reuben to has made the switch from their former favorite.
Evan is a True Rockstar Great Food Great experience Greatest Strawberry Lemonade Ever MUST TRY
Love Arby's been going there for years. Good food reasonable prices and friendly staff. I recommend Arby's to all that like beef.
Initially I hit 2 stars as the wait seemed excessive in the drive thru, though that really wasn't fair as the Wagyu burger was quite good! Who knows, maybe they were short handed that day, too.
First off the employees here are great, they repeatedly provide excellent service, always smiling and friendly faces and never a missing item or special order snafu until today but it wasn't the end of the world. I was getting a several to take to friends in Washington because they didn't have them on offer at their local store. I admit I did have a bit of an unusual special order request because they would be in a cooler in my car for about the next two and a half hours. I place my order for a total of eight with the tzatziki sauce as well as the tomatoes and lettuce to be served on the side so they would not become soggy during the trip. Disappointingly, they were soggy upon arrival because only the sauce was served on the side but not the lettuce or tomatoes. But everyone managed to eat theirs without too much about the sog. The only other issue is the wait can sometimes be a little bit long especially around dinner, but please, keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the employees or management here. They are great! It's one of only two stores, each at opposite ends of Salem and both are very popular. Now to be completely honest, Arby's has good food for the most part (I know...but I just can't stand horseradish in any even miniscule amount or form) but we noticed a big change in the price to value ratios with a good deal of the menu items while living in Seattle over the the last 20 plus years. Sadly the amount of beef on their sandwiches shrunk considerably. I know they need to make a profit and that's only fair but when you're eating a sandwich and the bun to beef ratio is something closer to 80 20 It's rather disappointing and honestly kind of gross... So for that fact started keeping my distance and slowed visits from twice a week down to once every couple months. Then came their Greek Lamb and beef Gyro...a nice change! Visits became more regular as the price was perfect...but then all of a sudden it vanished from sight without a word. Upon moving back to Oregon after 30 years in Seattle, I couldn't have been happier to see that they brought back their Greek Gyros, at least in Oregon, after a long absence. Considering that so much of the food we eat is fast food which is different from a sit-down style type restaurant, it actually had a good flavor, with the lamb beef being well seasoned, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions and the tzatziki sauce, is a great way to round out the sandwich. Although I would tweak it with more cucumber and dill, preferably fresh, as it would make it much closer to one served in a Greek restaurant! Too bad their is no grappa, Ouzo or Tsipouro on offer.....hint hint hint. Oh well I guess the orange cream shakes, which are quite tasty will have to do for now.... And if you're feeling bold just add a couple shots of either some very nice Italian lemoncello or some stolichnaya vodka. So overall great employees tasty food and decent prices value for your money on several items . Thanks again and let's see if we can make sure this lamb and beef gyro stays a permanent fixture on the menu board...please? P.s. This is my sweet little girl, JoJo puppy. She is a Chi-tbull or Pit-huahua. She is the sweetest, smartest, most kind and loving little fur baby ever. This is our little treat once in a while...of course no onions or tomatoes for pup. So first pic....our favorite. Second... someone is asleep but the yummy smells wake us from our deep slumber and picture 3....well that's her ede, after eating, giving me the look and expressing her belief that she was somehow cheated in my deviding up the sandwich. from within her little blanket cave. Now who could say no to that sweet and soft and prescious fluffy little puppy face?
