The Original Pancake House - Salem

This is my favorite breakfast spot! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food. I love the 49er flapjacks and the banana, blueberry, and Hawaiian pancakes. The coffee is tasty and the bacon is fantastic. My only issue is the pricing - $7.50 for a side of bacon (3 slices) is too expensive. But, when I really want it, I'll still order it.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is amazing, the food is cooked perfectly to order, and I really enjoy the coffee and the new mugs.

The service we received from our server was outstanding; she was incredibly friendly and ensured that we ordered dishes we truly enjoyed. I was hesitant about trying the sausage gravy, but she kindly brought me a sample to taste, and it turned out to be delicious! Additionally, their strawberry syrup was absolutely amazing.

Everything was wonderful. I do miss the old cups and saucers though.

This is our FAVORITE place to enjoy a family breakfast. The service is wonderful, atmosphere warm and comfortable and the food is great!
