Le Majestic - Saint-Jean-de-Luz

Very much enjoyed their home salad. Fresh ingredients set the right tone. Nice location, not too busy nor too calm.

You order a beer and when it arrives it looks that someone already took a big sipI don't like half full glasses.

It was the only place still serving in the middle of the afternoon Waiter was unpleasant and food was so bad we couldn't finish our plates Avoid this place, folks

Excellent meal, food, staff very friendly and very very helpful and efficient. Prices very reasonable though expect to pay €7.00 for a large beer! Great place.. Highly recommended. Andrew & Family from Ireland

We came you Jean de Luz for a part of our day. This is a wonderful small city to stroll around. In the main square we found Le Majestic. It is a place to watch the world go by. The wait staff speak multiple languages including Basque, French, Spanish and English. Our waiter was wonderful. We chose the warm goat cheese salad and Basque wine, both of which were wonderful. The pastries were a great way to complete our excellent lunch. Dining in France is not the same experience as in the US. It's an experience. People don't wolf down their food and move on. It's sad that some Americans cannot slow down and enjoy the coffee.
