Bidrage med feedbackBrenda Poirier is one of the best cooks in Quebec, with incredibly delicious food and a beautiful view of the river, making it the best place in town for dinner. The restaurant now has a new name, "L'Audace Boréale."
A small and cozy place with a great view onto the river. Very friendly staff. We were glad that we could speak in English and got a helping hand with the translation of the menu. The food, which was made of local ingredients and products, was great and delicious. Try the beer...which was awesome. We had a good time with very good food for a reasonable price.
If you are looking for a restaurant that serves good local cuisine, this is one of the places in the area to look for.
Tasting menu was top-notch, surprising to find such a great meal in an unassuming location (not just the remote town, also the place doesn't impress from the street). Excellent local beers (La Chouape also from Saint-Felicien) and everything was fresh and expertly prepared from the appetizers and soup to through the main courses and desserts.
We decided to have dinner here based on the restaurant's positive reputation on Tripadvisor. Initially, I thought the restaurant might be closed from the outside, but once inside, we were surprised to find a variety of delicious options on the menu. Whether you're looking for a five-course meal or just a salad, this restaurant is a great choice.
