Rox City Grill - Saint Charles

The staff are friendly, warm and very knowledgeable of the menu. We would go there again.

This is our second time eating dinner at Rox City Grill. We were staying at the Hotel Baker, and this makes it so convenient to have a dining room in the hotel. Our reservations were at 5:30, and we were promptly seated. Our server, Jacob, was very attentive to our every need. We were able to enjoy a cocktail before ordering dinner, and there was no rush. There was soft, smooth jazz playing in the background, which just added to the relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary warm crusty bread is served with your dinner, and replenished should you run out (which we did). Our meals were excellent. Since we were going to a concert, we didn't want anything too heavy, so my husband chose the Cobb salad, and I opted for the crab cakes, three small cakes presented nicely on a plate, and we shared an order of the Truffle Pommes Frites, which the generous portion is plenty for both of us. As a guest of the hotel, we received a 25% discount on our entire bill, which was very nice. I would highly recommend the Rox City Grill for dinner. Later that evening, there is also a trio playing music in the lounge, too.

Food was underwhelming as was the service. Expected it to be better.

Rox City Grill is always consistent with how good their food and service is. We had the Skewers, Lumpia and the Bone-in Ribeye Steak. They all were fantastic. The Lumpia was crispy and tasteful and the Ribeye was aged properly and done medium-perfect. Atmosphere is very pleasant and even live entertainment.

Everything was great. No complaints. The food, drink, options, service are all what you would expect when going out for a night on the town, prior to seeing a show at the Arcada. We'll be back!
