This restaurant is run by 4 brothers under the vigilant view of their retired pais. Of course, the sagres marina is a great location with beautiful view and eating is absolutely amazing. they choose from a large series of seafood, from a glass fall, and it could not be fresher if they caught it themselves. what I really loved most about this culinary experience was the pure "joie de vivre," exhibited by this whole family. it was as much fun to observe as they interact with each other and their guests. they really love what they do, and they can not help but notice.
If they enjoy fresh fish, good, it will not be fresher than that. the boats bring into the freshly caught fish and seafood and moments later they can enjoy the same fish or seafood in this rustic restaurant directly at the harbour. the terrace. is covered so that they can sit in the shade. the place itself is not very cozy, but clearly they come here for eating. the dishes are really simple and this is perfect because they want to taste the fish as pure as possible. the dishes are served with potato and salate. definitiw value for money.
We had lunch here on Thanksgiving day during a visit to Sagres. really, who needs truthahn for thanksgiving. that must be my favorite thank you experience at all! first, the location is great, right there on the fiction, and they get to get. from their eating. it can't get fresher. there is no menu because who needs one? they take the fresh fish and prepare it for perfection and serve it with fries, salat and drink. the result is spectacular in a word. the service was so friendly to everything else! the restaurant was run by a vater and sons, and they were super friendly and easy to meet. I would highly recommend this experience if they are ever in sagres.
A simple setup, you choose your fish, they weigh it and charge you for what it is, and then its served with potatoes and salad with whatever it is that you want to drink. We had the Turbot which was simply excellent, enough said.
