Applebee's Grill - Saginaw

Got the new triple bacon burger which was very tasty and was brought out fresh. The full rack of ribs was good and fresh. The half rack was brought out ice cold and admitted that old fries were brought to our table so she brought some fresh too. Check was rung up seemingly incorrectly perhaps staff does not have enough support in training or management is not helpful. Our server we tried to give the benefit of the doubt but literally was asked “are you ready to leave and pay or do you want more time” as we were in the middle of eating. There was many other rude phrasings and we were not asked if we were enjoying our food or any simple food service questions. Come to find out it was our severs first night on the floor by herself and she was given no support.

Ok, I don’t know what’s going with the food service industry, but this place missed items on my to go order. Prices have gone up and staff expect tips. Yet they can get an order correct. Have people gotten to a point where they don’t care anymore? Seriously considering not ordering out anymore from food establishments. Guess it’s time to eat more at home and bring lunches to work.Update to franchise: I’ve already filled out a review from my ticket.

The booth was clean but needs a deep clean. It had a residue and smelled funny. The same goes for the high chair. But our service was a very nice lady. She accommodated and brought my child's food first so she would be occupied while hubby and I figured out what we wanted. The appetizer came out hot and was delicious. The food came out and, besides the fries, was yummy. We ordered a burger, chicken, and pastas. Only downside was the cold fries. They were rubbery, chewy, and cold. We didn't see our server for a while but did let her know when she came back around. She brought out some fresh ones but I ended up just taking them home at that point. We were already ready for our check.

Atmosphere and service were fine. The food itself (the fries in particular) tasted like they'd been left out a while. This is apparently the norm here. There are better Applebee's to eat at if there's something on the menu you're craving.

The food came out cold and the steak tasted like a salt shaker was dumped on it..only good thing was the jolly rancher shot and cheese sticks!
