Food is great, but waiting in the drive through line for 45 minutes to an hour is ridiculous. Not to mention the linewasn?t even full. Get some speed and service like Chick Fil A and this establishment will go places.
Place is fine but it is incredibly slow. Not sure how it can take over 30 minutes to make 2 burgers but somehow they managed it. It's almost like they intentionally work at being as slow as possible.
This was our first time at a Whataburger. We are on a long drive and needed a quick stop. The staff was amazing and friendly — greeting everyone and asking how the day was going. Even the manager engaged with us and every single person in the restaurant. If I were looking for work, I’d want to work here — all the employees seemed to be happy and working well together. The food was delicious — I enjoyed a jalapeño cheeseburger and my husband was very impressed with his cheeseburger. My husband also really enjoyed the fries and that says something — he can be very picky about his fries will complain when they aren’t served hot (they were very hot) or aren’t tasty (he loved them). We will definitely eat at another Whataburger!
Was happy to find a whataburger on my way through Louisiana. Food was great, but was really impressed with the staff. Very friendly, and incredibly helpful.
I placed an order through the app, which indicated it would be ready by 12:45. However, there was no check-in button for picking up at the counter. I arrived at 12:41 and told the staff I had a mobile order. The employee checked the screen and informed me there was no order under my name. I showed him my mobile order receipt, and he disappeared to the back again, only to keep me waiting for nearly 10 minutes. By that time, it was past 12:45. When he finally returned and saw me still waiting, he seemed quite nervous. He checked the screen again, and unexpectedly, my order appeared at 12:52. I got my order shortly after that and headed to my car. Upon opening the burger, I was disappointed to find it a mess—lettuce was spilling out, and there was more sauce on the packaging than on the burger itself. I have had no issues with the app at other Whataburger locations, so perhaps their system was experiencing problems. Regardless, the burger certainly could have been assembled better. While I’m not saying I’ll never return, I don’t plan on going back anytime soon.
