Taco Bamba - Rockville

This newer Taco Bamba is putting out pretty good food. Ordered for take out. Tried a few regular tacos and Bamba fries. Everything came out to order and tortillas did not fall apart. Sauce bar was clean and plenty of supplies to fill out your order. The regular order line not clearly marked, bar is the first thing as you walk in. Guess you can order from the bar as well. Loud music, which still don?t understand the choice permeates. Space is long and plenty ofseating inside and some out. Staff is focused on turnover of orders. Nice touch, the last person check against receipt for accuracy.

This review is for the breakfast side of the menu, when I try the rest of the menu I'll update. The atmosphere was nice. It was early in the am, but the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the breakfast empanada and the og breakfast taco. I also got the mango aqua Fresca and a Churro chocolate chip cookie. Presentation wise everything was perfect. I ordered to go, nothing was just thrown together. The empanada had that good crisp with light bubbles (if you know than you know thats a great sign). The taco was a typical street taco setup and taste. The empanada was okay, but its more egg than bacon,, once you get the middle you find meat.. As you can see in my pictures the food lookedamazing. Taste wise I wasn't blown away. Everything was decent, but it was missing seasoning to me. The cookie was delicious though. The drink was pretty good as well. I'll try the dinner soon, I feel like that may be where they shine.

Honey...the way I'm ready to go back again!! The drinks? ???? I got the carne asada taco, dirty style and BRUH. I'm going back for 3 more. The tinga quesadilla was also great! +Shorty that helped us was so cool Hoping they get more Empanada options though-the bacon egg and cheese one wasn't all that great. Nor was the rice. But trust me I'll be back, still!

Bamba fries are always good. Just wished I got salsas like other DD orders before. It was a slow Thursday afternoon, so I dont understand the error. I still devoured the fries ferociously becase they stand strong in their perfect mix of crispy, soft, chewy, smooth, and spicy.

This was some of the best food ive had in this area since I moved here last year! The rice and beans were not the most amazing, but the mulita de birria was absolutely FANTASTIC! Also the juice was really solid. I never write out a review but that food just hit on another level. The spice was perfect, act spicy!! Then the fresh cilantro and onion and garlic just popped while staying cohesive with the meats flavor. The totilla mightve been a bit crispier, but it was more functioally sound for dipping in the sauce container with less crisp. Honestly, they made a lifelong customer tonight if their food is consistently this good.
