Cava Mezze Olney

My man and I had a great dinner last night. the food was all excellent, especially the chicken lilypops, the feta dip and the spanakopita. the server was attentive and eating came out quickly. the only part is that the restaurant has terrible acoustics and it was rock concert loud. yikes, we couldn't hear or the server. next time we'll go to one of the other places.

Cava mezze in olney has reliable good food, used to reliable good service. we have gone there since it is open, and have used to recognize server that had been there one. the service has dropped lately. Whether it's the job difficulties that have affected the entire industry, or if the management simply makes the workout suffer, the service is not what it was earlier. Among the special features are long waiting times on basic like drinks and coffee, which the server/runner on dinge like tablebiscuits, beverage refills (not the ready-if-it 's-ready small teller, I get that, presented with the scarf before we were ordered finished, server deliver the wrong ala carte drink, and acknowledging not familiar with the item. (the latter is a training problem. we are long-term customers, this is our Go-to-Viertel restaurant, so a few service matches are not to keep us from returning. but if it was our introduction to this restaurant, we would probably not return. presumably off-topic, but is the happy hour menu limited to the bar area? if they arrive for a happy hour at 18 o'clock (which runs until 6:30 o'clock and the bar is full, are they limited to the full price menu in the main restaurant area? if this is the case, the happy hour conditions on the board before the restaurant advertising happy hour should be noticed prominently. if our server was incorrectly informed about happy hour, see above ask for server training.

Had an amazing brunch with my oldest son. our server was so nice and personal. dhe was very attentive and addressed my falling egg. we all had a laugh. great tasting dishes and their recommendations were at the point! the spanokopita was delicate, but crispy and seasonal perfect. the lamb benedikt was tasty and full; the brussel sprouts...complete and the bananenfritter were sweet and yet light. the giro and the ice of my life, for which he was worth returning. we'll see you again. My partner and I enjoyed eating at Cava Mezze. The menu was awesome and it's got a pretty good interior/energy. I will say they are usually SLAMMED the times I've gone, so a reservation is key. Perhaps a little pricy for portions, though this is the downside of tapas/mezze style food. Easy to leave hungry unless you spend and spend.

One of the best places to eat in Olney that offers fresh quality food.
