We went to Paros for dinner during our stay at the St. Regis to celebrate my husband’s birthday. When we arrived the restaurant was not full as it was low season for the hotel but there was a big group being loud near our table. We asked to move and they graciously obliged. The noise level significantly improved and our night was very nice. All the cocktails were great and the food was good. We had the tuna tartare, the lamb chops with truffle fries and broccolini. The food was delicious, though not sure if the fries were homemade. We shared the cherry clafoutis for dessert. The service was wonderful and everyone was very thoughtful.
Paros is an outstanding first-rate option for diners from the metropolitan area to the east coast. For non-residents of the beautiful St. Regis resort, a reservation is useful to enter the resort grounds for dinner at Paros. I had Spanish octopus followed by New Zealand lamb, and my wife had tuna sashimi followed by a whole branzino. All four dishes where superb. The tuna appetizer and branzino especially were to write home about. The wine selection is extensive—we chose Sancerre and went for the 2019 Pascal Jolivet Pinot Noir, a subtle middle ground for the lamb and brazino combination. We chose the chocolate desert which was tastefully and discretely presented with one lit birthday candle. Service was impeccable, attentive, focused. My special request at reservation time for a romantic table was accommodated with a corner table surrounded by glass walls overlooking the beach and garden. This was a special occasion as the tab rose above $400 with tip.
Spectacular experience, Jesus our server great very knowledgeable and attentive, assisted us through the menu and helped to create with his peers a loving memory for us. The food was nothing less than amazing, flavors were on point. Stacy the manager was very charismatic and friendly, engaging with guests.
Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. We had the 3 dips w/ pita bread. Very delicious and all with a bit of a twist. The pita bread tasted like it had just been baked on the premises, fluffy w/ just the right amount of yeasty goodness. Unlike other reviewers I really enjoyed the Gyro which is always one of my favorite dishes anywhere it is served. This shredded lamb version was unexpected and satisfying. The pickled cucumbers were fresh, still crunchy and delicious. So were the sliced onions. My husband had the salmon which was very fresh and grilled to perfection and the mashed potatoes which were fluffy and creamy at the same time (perfect mashed potatoes are always a sign of a great chef). Service and atmosphere were relaxed and perfect at the same time.
