Bidrage med feedbackWe love the crepe so went there twice for lunch! Both meat and veggie crepes, as well as the sandwich were good. Services was not impressive, but for a cosy coffee shop we should not demand too much.
Nice place to have a good breakfast. I recommend the brunch which is kind of a breakfast menue for 11 euros. Staff is nice and the room in the back is beautiful
I visited Casinha after only experiencing one brunch (though it was one of the best in Porto) and I used to go there when Casinha was in São Bento but the place closed and I never got the time to visit their original address. However I really enjoyed the brunch: there is a great selection of items to choose and everything was really fresh and delicious. I would prefer instead of a slice of cake, pancakes. I think the cakes were too sugary and perhaps pancakes in the brunch menu would be healthier . I will have to come back to try the Hot chocolate spoon and the pancakes.
This used to be a nice place, now it is a rip off overrun by tourists. I 'm amazed and shocked how a few years of success can ruin a place. I loved to come here in 2016. But I guess this was my last visit here. But to elaborate and justify the rating: Even when staffed well enough, you 'll be waiting a LOT to place your order. Also applies when there is almost no queue due to most inefficient organization. The staff will prepare your food without wearing gloves. This is not allowed in Portugal by law... Lemonades are sold from large jars. When empty, they are refilled from the tab. Yes. Really. For some reason, half of the options on the menu are always 'out '. Also for some reason, the staff is in way too many cases borderline rude. Furthermore, this place is heavily overpriced. You can get a full meal for less just across the street. To my taste, the quality of the food significantly decreased. E.g., the cheesecake used to be one of the best. Now it 's really bad. Youghurt is simply the youghurt from the Lidl Supermarkt (200 Meters away).
So I decided to come here because of their beautiful garden (which is nice) but after finding the rude service, no working WIFI and one of the worst coffees I've ever had (that's also overpriced), I'm never coming back. Also, I was there with a laptop and the none of the electrical plugs were working. Not to mention they serve their beverages in plastic or carton to-go cups (yes, even if you sit in) which is not only uncomfortable but incredibly eco-unfriendly.
