Catalina Bistro - Rathmines

Good meal for the price hubby had flathead I had prawn cutlets good size meal very nice, worth going out there for it nice views of Lake Macquarie from the verandah.

We have now dined three times at the Catalina Bistro since the Thai menu has been available. The Thai food is excellent, servings generous and staff great. The club has revamped inside area which has large windows looking down to the lake and there is...a great covered verandah overlooking the lake plus a fenced garden area with large umbrellas also. Highly recommend.

Tucked away in the Catalina Bowling Cllub this bistro offers a great selection of freshly cooked meals and genuine and friendly service. It is in a great position overlooking Lake Macquarie with plenty of parking. The bar and drink facilities are also great with friendly...service

Yesterday, I had lunch at Club Catalina. The Thai cuisine was delicious, with generously sized portions and friendly service. I have been to this restaurant multiple times and each visit has been consistently good in terms of food and service. The menu features a mix of Thai and Australian dishes. The restaurant overlooks the stunning Macquarie Lake and offers indoor and outdoor seating options on the veranda. There is also a garden area with sun umbrellas and a small play center for children.

A group of friends recently visited this restaurant for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. They loved it so much that they want to go back again and again. They mentioned that it was the best Thai laksa they had ever tasted in Sydney. I have also dined here a couple of times and agree that the portions are quite generous and the ingredients are fresh. The restaurant doesn't seem to be too crowded and offers a beautiful view of the sea.
