Hotel-Restaurant Krone - Radolfzell

In Fußlaufnähe vom Bahnhof und vom Hafen entfernt, in einer ruhigen Querstrasse gelegen. Rustikales Wirtshaus mit sehr langer Tradition. Bekannt für Bodenseespezialitäten und Weine aus der Region (bitte einen Weissburgunder aus Meersburg verkosten! . Empfehlenswert ist der Badische Sauerbraten (für meinen Geschmack sehr viel bekömmlicher als ein rheinischer und das Felchenfilet, das in einem badischen Gutedel gedünstet wird. Einzigartig! Bei gutem Wetter laden einige Tische zum Draussensitzen ein. Und das sehr entspannt, weil das Lokal in einer Fussgängerzone liegt.

Hotel Krone and restaurant is located in the pedestrian area of Radolfzell, near Obertor and Stadtgarten. The restaurant offers typical dishes from the region and a number of fish dishes from Lake Constance. Our party of 5 had 3 dishes with fish, especially the “Zander” (pike-perch) province was superficial. The house made “Maul Exchange”, a Swabian dish, was excellent and my Sauerbraten, despite the danger of this dish in a restaurant due to most cases it did not taste as it should, was excellent! Be careful, but the portions are very big! The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely return for another lunch or dinner.

Near the railway station and the port, in a quiet cross road. Rustic house with very long tradition. Known for Lake Constance specialties and wines from the region (please try a Pinot Blanc from Meersburg!). Recommended is the Badish Sauerbraten (for my taste much more pleasant than a Rhenish and the purple fillet, which is gilded in a Badischer Gutdel. Unique! In good weather, some tables invite you to sit outside. And this is very relaxed because the place is in a pedestrian zone.

Who is looking for something special ambiente is in the krone at the right place, in the restaurant everything is very stylishly furnished. the kitchen is tasty, but ultimately we found the price/performance ratio as too expensive, which is why we do not miss the highest grade.
