Bidrage med feedbackThat was one of the best meals my best friend and I ever had. When we arrived, our chef came to welcome us, and he and his wife and staff welcomed us warmly. I felt like I came home to my parents for dinner. The Sangria was different than anything I ever had was phenomenal. We had the seafood paella. It was really one of the best dishes I ever had in my life. The seafood was fresh and cook took care of his kitchen and it was clear how he brought it to us with pride, and could not wait for how much we enjoyed it. Open kitchen and wonderful experience!
Great. Small place... estimated five tables. The cook is a real gourmet with complicated, wonderful, high-end dishes. Romantic. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Make a reservation. We showed up in the first night and they were fully booked. Next day with reservation returned and were very happy.
Wow! That's a great meal! The paella was excellent; very tasty. All other dishes were also great, especially the tropical salad. If you're in a hurry, maybe it's not your place because they make everything fresh and it takes time... We had such a great time!
We've eaten there today. The couple is actually from Spain and moved to Costa Rica. They built a beautiful home with a restaurant (well decorated with beautiful surfaces) and cottage on a property. It's a passion project. The food was authentic and they were very welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Spanish cuisine. I'm with two photos, but I'm blocking the child's face in the picture.
This restaurant really is something special. We were greeted by the chef upon entering, he brought over the actual fresh catch of the day which was the special, and explained it to us. The food was absolutely amazing, we did get the catch of the day which was fantastic red snapper. For a group of 4 we ended up choosing the special fish, which was to feed at least 2, and 4 appetizers. Each item was more delicious than the last. The red snapper was presented and served to us by the chef himself. Chef chatted with us throughout the night, and the whole experience was very unique and personal. If you have the opportunity to get a spot at this 6 table restaurant, don't hesitate.
