Our waitress Janice was tolerant of us women. Ha ha she was a great waitress and you should request her!
Went to Hessler's for the first time this afternoon, around 2:00, and ordered the burger melt. The burger was good.......... the service, not so much. It took a long time to order, but that wasn't the worst part. After the waitress left me my bill, she ghosted me. I waited, and waited, and waited forever, but she never returned to accept my payment. So I went to the bar to ask how I should pay, and the bartender got completely nasty with me, yelled at me that wasn't her job, and stormed off. Well, that's it for me I won't be back.
The main reason for going to Hessler's Pub and Grill is for their pizza. I got one with sausage, and it is one of the BEST in the St. Louis South County area!
It's a local bar where the usual crowd seems to hang out. There is nothing special about the decor.
